2005 State Games of Oregon
Adult Hockey Tournament

3 Levels of play:

GOLD Level and will be open to experienced skilled hockey players.
SILVER Level will consist of players who have some hockey experience but do not possess the skills to play in the Gold Level.
BRONZE Level will be open to NOVICE or BEGINNER Hockey players. These will be players who are new to the sport of hockey or have only been playing for a short time.Features:
  • Per Team Charge $925.00 (Maximum roster of 20 players, Goalies included)
  • Guaranteed 4 games.
  • Three 18 minute running time periods.
  • Winter games t-shirt to all participants.
  • Medals for top 3 finishers.
  • Scorekeepers provided
Rules:
  • Zero Tolerance
  • Roster will be locked after 1st game.
  • Fighting Prohibited
  • 4 minor penalties or 12 minutes in total penalty time in one game carry an automatic retirement of the game.
  • Any major penalty within the last 2 minutes of a game, player will be suspended from the next game.
  • All 10 minute misconduct penalties carry a $15.00 fine
  • 1 1 minute timeout
  • Stop time in last 2 minutes of all games that are within 2 goals.
  • Tie games will be decided by a 3 man shootout. Visiting team will shoot first. If still tied a sudden death shootout, with different shooters, until a winner has been determined. Every player on team must shoot, before a player can shoot twice.
  • Shootout winner receives 2 points, Shootout loser receives 1 point.
  • Tie Breakers: Most wins, head to head, fewest loses.
  • All players must be 18 years old as of March 7, 2005
Sand Bag Rule: If a team declared by the Tournament Director to have ?Sand Bagged? in a division below the actual skill level of their team, they will be declared ineligible to play in the medal round of the State games.

Schedule:
