Who can participate? All levels of Figure Skating. I will divide them up by level.
What will we do? Daily instruction will include:
  • Power Skating
  • Moves in the Field
  • Jumps & Spins
  • Ballet on Ice
  • Ballet off Ice
  • Stretch and Jump Class
  • Craft Time
  • Lunch, snack and much more!!!
When will we meet? Monday through Friday 9:00a - 5:00p
Will there be supervision? Yes, there will be volunteers to watch the kids from 9:00a - 5:00p.
Do you have to do the whole week to participate No. Of course it would be good to do the whole week of camp because the classes will progress each day. However, if you would like to drop in for a day, or 2 or 3 there is a daily fee.
Do you have to stay all day? No. The instructional classes will go from 9:00a -1:30p. If you would like you can pick your child up at 1:30p. The rest of the camp will be skating on your own, snack time and craft time. Something a child would not want to miss!!! (There will be no discount if you choose to leave early.)
Why should you participate? This year will be Sherwood Ice Arenas 2nd Summer Camp.
Last year the camp was a huge success. This will be a time when all figure skaters can get together, skate with other kids of there same ability, meet new friends, have an intense but fun 1 week of instruction and have a great time!!!!
Will lunch be served? Yes. There are 3 choices of lunch on the registration application. You can also bring your own lunch. (There will be no discounts for bringing your own lunch.)
What do I need to bring? All campers must bring tennis shoes, ballet shoes or socks, jump rope, comfortable clothing, sweatshirt, and skates. (Rental skates included if needed.)
